Sigil is a drawing-to-music tool that runs in your browser. This page says what it does with your data, which is very little.

No account, no tracking

Sigil has no sign-up and no login. It runs no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking scripts. The fonts and code are served from sigilmelody.com itself.

Your sketches stay on your device

What you draw, plus your key, scale, tempo and sound settings, is saved in your browser's local storage so your sketch is still there when you come back. That data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser's site data for sigilmelody.com removes it.

Audio and MIDI are made in your browser

Sound is generated on your device. When you export, the MIDI pack is built in your browser and downloaded straight to your device. Nothing you draw or export is uploaded to a server.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Changes

If Sigil adds features that handle data differently, such as accounts or cloud saving, this page will be updated before they launch.
